Where we work in Lakewood
- Thornewood Castle. 125 indoor, 200 outdoor. States it allows your choice of caterer and, unusually, charges the caterer none of the customary ten to fifteen percent venue commission. It also expects the caterer to bring all food-service equipment, which is exactly how we already operate.
- Lakewold Gardens. Runs an approved caterer list.
Lakewood has one of the best venue situations in the region for a mobile caterer, because its landmark estate actively prefers vendors who bring everything.
How an office lunch runs
The oven parks where your building allows, the fire is lit before the lunch window, and pizza comes out continuously so a rolling crowd is served without a queue. One invoice per event with the site address on it.
Lakewood sits in Pierce County, so temporary food permits go through Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department, and open-flame cooking needs fire marshal sign-off. We carry our own licensing and deal with that paperwork.
