Where we work in Maple Valley
- Lake Wilderness Lodge. Up to 220. City-owned. States you may choose any caterer and that self-catering is permitted. The kitchen is warming-only — a microwave and two ovens, no cooking — and open flame indoors is restricted to glass-enclosed candles.
- Olson Mansion. Barn seats 225 for a ceremony, 250 reception-style.
- Taylor Mountain Ranch. Ranch venue with a published email.
A good illustration of the whole pitch: the main venue here has a warming kitchen and no cooking facilities, so a caterer who brings his own fire solves the building’s central limitation.
How an office lunch runs
The oven parks where your building allows, the fire is lit before the lunch window, and pizza comes out continuously so a rolling crowd is served without a queue. One invoice per event with the site address on it.
Maple Valley sits in King County, so temporary food permits go through Public Health — Seattle & King County, and open-flame cooking needs fire marshal sign-off. We carry our own licensing and deal with that paperwork.
