Venues in Snohomish
- Green Gates at Flowing Lake. 175 guests, mid-May through September. States that apart from the DJ and bartender you are free to hire the vendors of your choice. Their published list already includes Veraci, Pompeii, Fat Zach’s, Cascadia and Sparta’s — five pizza operators. The clearest proof of demand anywhere in the research.
- Dairyland. 250 guests. States it is open to all licensed vendors. Their list includes Pompeii and a link to a food-truck directory.
- Woodland Meadow Farms. States it is open to all licensed vendors, with a similar list.
- Fiddlers Bluff. Requires a caterer from their approved full-service list.
- Marionfield Farm. Pre-approved list, not published.
- Stocker Farms. Snohomish Red Barn Events, with a published events email.
- Lord Hill Farms. Do not pitch — in-house catering only.
The barn-wedding capital of the region, and the place where the competitive picture is clearest: several venues already list wood-fired pizza operators on their vendor pages, which proves the format sells and shows exactly which lists to join.
How a wedding runs
We arrive early, site the oven where the venue and fire marshal are happy with it, and light the fire about an hour before service so it is at temperature. Pizzas come out continuously through cocktail hour and dinner, roughly ninety seconds apart, so nobody queues for long and nothing sits going cold.
Snohomish sits in Snohomish County, so temporary food permits go through Snohomish County Health Department, and open-flame cooking needs fire marshal sign-off. We carry our own licensing and deal with that paperwork.
