The single best-fit place we found. One Vashon venue lists a mobile pizza oven on its own preferred-vendor page, and the island is structurally protected because the largest Seattle competitor states it does not travel on ferries.
A ferry from Point Defiance, about forty minutes door to door. We cover all of it — Vashon town, Burton, Dockton, Point Robinson — and the oven sets up anywhere a trailer can park and a fire marshal will approve.
What follows is not a directory scrape. We read each venue's published catering policy on 2026-08-31, and the notes below say what their own site actually states.
Their published vendor page names island food trucks and a mobile pizza oven directly, and states water and power are on site. The strongest single lead in the entire research set.
50 to 300 depending on the space. States you are welcome to work with whatever vendor team you like, and open flame is allowed absent a fire ban.
Has a caterer list, or you can provide your own.
Garden and waterfront.
Do not pitch — exclusive caterer.
No in-house kitchen and outside food allowed, though they have a standing partner.

May to September, Saturdays. Prepared and ready-to-eat food is an accepted category.
Effectively none resident. Veraci explicitly excludes ferry routes, which leaves the island open.
We publish this because you will find these operators anyway, and comparing openly beats pretending they do not exist. Our own comparisons are on the compare pages.
Vashon Island sits in King County, so temporary food service runs on a Temporary Food Establishment permit, applied for through Public Health — Seattle & King County. Open-flame and propane cooking is approved city by city. Seattle itself requires a Seattle Fire Department permit, with cylinders kept at least ten feet from tents and the public and no more than five on site. We carry our own licensing and insurance and handle this side, but venues will ask, and it is worth knowing the answer exists before the day.
We arrive early enough to site the oven, light the fire about an hour before service, and cook continuously — a pizza roughly every ninety seconds once the oven is at temperature. Guests watch the whole thing happen. When service ends we break down, pack out and leave the site as found. One invoice, the address on it.
